Our vision is to see lives transformed through the Gospel — right here in Cornelius and beyond. We’re not just a church; we’re a family on mission, inviting everyone to experience the life-changing love of Christ.
We focus on expository preaching and teaching in all of our ministry. By that we mean that we preach and teach verse by verse and thought by thought. We preach and teach what God says directly from His Word only. We want people to hear God's Words not man's words."
Our Story
Founded in 1904, First Baptist Church of Cornelius began as a small group of believers gathering to worship and serve. Over the decades, God has grown us into a vibrant, welcoming church family committed to faithful preaching, loving community, and bold outreach. We’re grateful for the legacy we’ve inherited — and excited for the future God is writing.
